Methodology
Digital Nation has 8 years+ experience in online marketing and website development and they have developed a ‘check list’ to pin point what works and what doesn’t on a clients website. You can also have a face to face meeting with the team to brain storm your website, products and marketing strategies. Sections in the harsh but fair check list include:

Usability:

  • What is it like for a user viewing your website? Checks include looking at

  • Can they contact you?

  • Find out about your product and services? Even if they are not in your industry?

  • Can they find their way around your site easily? Is there navigation does it make sense? Are there any dead ends?

  • Can people with sight deficiencies use your site – is it ‘Bobby’ compliant?
     

Functionality:

  • How does your website function? Checks include looking at

  • What is it like if they use a 56k modem, or a Mac? How long does it take for the pages to load

  • Are there any missing links? Do the forms and buttons work?

  • Is your site set up to be indexed by search engines?

Communication:

  • What does your website really say?

  • Can a cold lead and a person who is already a customer use your site?

  • What would they find on it of value?

  • Could a journalist find everything they needed to write and article on your company and product?

Advertising:

  • Where does you website feature to promote your messages and products?

  • Can your site be found on the search engines?

  • Do you have links to other sites that promote yours in turn?

The Report:
The results of the Harsh but Fair check will be combined into a report showing

  • Results on each section and

  • Suggested action points and recommended methods of implementing them

  • E-Mail support and advice for up to sixty days after publication.

Harsh but Fair Brainstorm

Brainstorm:
Two of the Digital Nation team will join you and your team for a half day meeting to brainstorm all of the above and to explore how you can use your website to support and promote your existing marketing material and to increase the number of leads your website is generating for your company.

With 10 years marketing experience and 7 years online technical experience the team will share insights from other clients they have worked with as well as creating an environment where your team is free to explore what they could do to enhance the effectiveness of your website and how it works with your clients and products and bottom line. This will include looking at

  • Your products and services and where you see your website in your business processes.
    All of the above harsh but fair criteria will be explored, explained and solutions expanded

  • If you have your websites log files we can analyse these for you – and explore where people enter and exit your site and what are the most popular routes for using your website. This will give you in site into what people are actually looking for on your site.

For the Harsh but Fair Brainstorm the consultants will be with you for a half day meeting and do a further days work before and afterwards to create a hard hitting personalise brainstorming session and harsh but fair report to follow. Your team will also create an action list in the meeting. This will cost £1000+VAT and transport.

Harsh but Fair Customers

For Harsh But Fair Customers, Digital Nation would design the questionnaire, deliver it, collate the responses and publish the results. This will cost £750 per thousand contacts. Each additional 1000 contacts is £100.
